ABOUT THE VIDEO ART
The video art presents a surreal narrative that explores the search for safety within a reality shaped by anxiety and uncertainty.
A young woman runs through an open landscape in search of a protected space. After moments of panic and disorientation, she discovers a place that appears to be a shelter, yet she immediately begins to question whether it can truly protect her. The structure is covered by a transparent glass dome, a fragile and irrational form that undermines the very idea of protection and security.
She sits inside the space, attempting to calm herself, but her thoughts continue to wander restlessly. The fear does not disappear. Driven by urgency, she turns to the internet in an attempt to find a way to transform the glass dome into concrete a stronger and more durable material capable of turning the space into a real shelter.
Time passes slowly. Days go by, leaves fall from the tree, followed by its fruit, becoming a sign of prolonged waiting and emotional erosion. The world continues to change around her while she remains suspended in an ongoing search for safety.
Eventually, a solution is found. The glass dome transforms into solid protective concrete. The fragile structure becomes more stable, and she remains inside it suspended between fear and survival, between isolation and the deeply human need to feel protected.
The weather begins to change. Heavy clouds gather and rain starts to fall. Flowers begin to grow across the surface of the dome, gradually transforming the once unfamiliar structure into a warm and intimate place she can finally call home.
